This privacy policy applies to Dossary law firm, ("DLF", "we", "us", "our") and explains how we may Process your Personal Data. This Policy is issued by Dossary Law Firm, a Saudi law firm registered in Saudi Arabia.

We will share the personal data within DLF and with third party service providers who assist us in the administration and operation of DLF and in providing our legal services to our clients. We may also share the personal date for legitimate business purposes (including operating our Sites and our Apps, and providing services to you), in accordance with applicable law and subject to applicable professional and regulatory requirements regarding confidentiality and professional secrecy.

If DLF engage a third party Processor to Process the Personal Data, the Processor will be subject to binding contractual obligations to:

  • Only Process the Personal Data in accordance with our prior written instructions; and

  • Use measures to protect the confidentiality and security of the Personal Data, together with any additional requirements under applicable law.

 

DATA SECURITY

DLF implemented appropriate security measures to protect the personal data from being accidentally lost, used or accessed in an unauthorized way, altered or disclosed.

Since the internet is an open system, the transmission of information via the internet is not completely secure. Although we will implement all reasonable measures to protect personal data, we cannot guarantee the security of your data transmitted to us using the internet – any such transmission is at your own risk and you are responsible for ensuring that any Personal Data that you send to us are sent securely.

DLF take every reasonable step to ensure that the Personal Data are only Processed for as long as is necessary to fulfill the purpose for which we collected it, including any legal, regulatory, tax, accounting or reporting requirements.

To determine the appropriate retention period for personal data, we consider the amount, nature and sensitivity of the personal data, the potential risk of harm from unauthorized use or disclosure of personal data.

 

The criteria for determining the duration for which we will keep the Personal Data are as follows:

  • We will retain copies of Personal Data in a form that permits identification only for as long as is necessary in connection with the purposes set out in this Policy, unless applicable law requires a longer retention period.
